Dr. Pater graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in 1996. Following graduation, she completed an ASHP accredited Primary Care Residency at Shands Jacksonville (formerly University Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL). Since that time, Dr. Pater has been caring for patients in the community in a variety of outpatient settings. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy where she coordinates the Self-Care course, as well as co-coordinating the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences.
