I graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a Bachelor's Degree in bioengineering. Then I went on to pursue a MS degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy, during which I developed an interest in the application of statistical methods in biomedical research. For this purpose I learned several statistical analysis programs and also acted as the teaching assistant for the graduate level statistical course at our department.

Right now I'm pursuing a PhD in Dr. Xiang-Qun Xie's lab and have started my own research project, using advanced statistical tools to analyse the effect of antihypertensive and antidiabetic drugs on the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
