Tucci Memorial. On January 21, Daniel Buffington, president and CEO of Clinical Pharmacology Services Inc., Tampa, Fla., delivered the 2009 Tucci Memorial Lecture, hosted by the Pitt School of Pharmacy, in Scaife Hall. Buffington spoke about unique practice models for pharmacists and the current mechanisms that exist for compensating pharmacists who provide patient care services. Buffington, left, is pictured with pharmacy students Steven Zona (ASP president elect), Joshua Clossin (Pharmacy Weeks co-chair), Erica Trimble (ASP president), Melinda Wingard (Pharmacy Weeks co-chair), and Victor Tucci. Tucci, son of Nicholas C. Tucci, in whose memory the lecture was established, now sponsors the lecture, which was founded by his mother, Josephine Tucci.
