Cara grew up in Curwensville, Pennsylvania and received her PharmD from Duquesne University in May 2009. Through the PGY1 residency at UPMC Mercy, Care hopes to expand her clinical knowledge and skills in an acute care setting. Her professional interests include Infectious Disease, Critical Care, and Nutrition. In the future, she hopes to become an Infectious Disease Specialist and a faculty member at a school of pharmacy. Cara's interests outside of pharmacy include singing, sketching with charcoal and oil pastels, backyard sports, baking, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
