Matt is originally from Axis, Alabama and received his PharmD in 2009 from Auburn University. During his time at Auburn University, Matt was actively involved with the pharmacy student council, Kappa Psi, and student chapters of Phi Lambda Sigma, ASHP, and ASP. On the state level, Matt was constantly involved with both APA and AlSHP. His leadership experiences and involvement in both student and state organizations led to the pursuit of a pharmacy management residency. He enjoys playing as hard as he works and in his free time, he loves traveling, camping, fishing, and just about anything else he can do outdoors while hanging out with friends. During college football season, he enjoys cheering on the Auburn Tigers. His career interests include clinical service development, academic and professional organizational leadership, and medication safety.
