Dr. Johnson completed his PharmD degree from the University of Michigan in 2009 and his Bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. He is originally from South Carolina, where his parents currently reside. Dr. Johnson's current practice interests include solid organ transplant pharmacotherapy and ambulatory care. He chose to come to UPMC because of its international presence in transplant and the program's commitment to the leadership development of its pharmacy residents. Outside of pharmacy David enjoys racquetball, jazz/neo-jazz soul music and salsa. He also has a passion for poetry, capoiera, and rooting for his Wolverines -- Go Blue!
