Shannon is from Canonsburg, PA, and received her PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2009. She has worked and interned in the community for more than 7 years and she chose to complete a residency to strengthen her clinical knowledge and skills. She and her fiancé would like to own a pharmacy in the future. Her primary practice site during her residency will be at Blackburn’s Pharmacy in Tarentum, where she hopes to establish patient care services in the independent retail setting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and tries to make as many trips to Florida as she can.
