Lauren Trilli received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio State University in 1992. Dr. Trilli completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at UPMC in Pittsburgh in 1993. Upon finishing her residency, Dr. Trilli took a position with the VA Medical Center Highland Dr. in Pittsburgh where she worked in internal medicine. In 1994, she took a position in ambulatory care at the VA Medical Center in Oakland and has remained at the VA where the medical center has merged into the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Dr. Trilli is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy.

Dr. Trilli’s clinical practice is in ambulatory care where care is given to patients with diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia as well as anticoagulation. She is the director of the Anticoagulation Clinic and recently became Clinical Coordinator and Director of the residency program. Research interests include anticoagulation and herbals/natural products. Dr. Trilli teaches both experiential and didactic courses for the School of Pharmacy. She is a member of ASHP and ACCP.
