Current Research:
My current research involves development of vaginal microbicide delivery systems. The research includes the following main aims:
1) Development of polymeric vaginal films as potential vaginal drug delivery systems.
2) Utilization of vaginal films to deliver a combination of two mechanistically different anti-HIV compounds.
3) Assessment of the developed microbicide in terms of physical, chemical and biological activity properties.
