Research Interest
Megan Kloet's project is a prospective, observational quality improvement project to determine how often hospitalized patients are prescribed medications in violation of serious black box warnings, to investigate reasons for these violations if they occur, and to monitor for the development of adverse drug reactions from black box warning violations. The purpose of this project is to identify areas for systematic changes to increase drug prescribing safety in patients admitted to general medicine floors.
