Jing Li is a graduate student in University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She obtained a B.S. in Pharmaceutics from China Pharmaceutical University and M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
Jing Li’s research interests are topical drug delivery including gel, film, cream and nanotechnology. She has worked on projects focused on curcumin nanoemulsion gels for obesity topical treatment as well as PLGA nanoparticles encapsulating small molecules and macromolecules for HIV prevention. Her current research projects are biomucoadhesive films and biomucoadhesive nanoparticles to improve user adherence in HIV prevention, and swelling films manufactured by hot melt extrusion for physical contraceptives.
My research interest lies in topical drug delivery, especially in vaginal and epidermal delivery with application of gel, film, and nanoparticle.
