Brian is currently a Ph.D. student and research technician in Dr. Jan H. Beumer's laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He completed his B.S. in Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. In the same year Brian joined Dr. Merrill Egorin and Dr. Jan H. Beumer's laboratory as a research technician in the Cancer Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Facility where he specializes in the development, validation and implementation of analytical methods to support clinical and preclincal investigation of novel anti-cancer drugs. He completed his M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 upon which he was accepted into the Ph.D. program.
Brian's research interests include include clinical and preclinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetic modeling. This includes LC-MS/MS assay development, compartmental modeling, population PK modeling and PBPK modeling. His future research interests focus in translational medicine of novel anti-cancer drugs to support their development in humans.
