Program: PhD Track: Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy Research
Joshua received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2015. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree, specializing in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy Research in order to build out his skills in research and academic scholarship.
Joshua's research interests are focused in the utilization of pharmacists and pharmacy services to optimize medication use to inform prescribing practices and health policies to be implemented in communities. Specifically, he intends to focus on health outcomes and policy related to medication use in elderly nursing home patients with dementia and their caregivers. He also has an interest in teaching and academia with the future goal of pursuing an academic research and teaching position at a University.
