Thomas Kirschling is Manager of Pharmacy Operations at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  He received his Pharm.D. degree and completed a combined residency with M.S. degree in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He has been active in research, teaching, management, active in both state and national professional affairs.  His current focus is oversight, coordination, and redesign of central pharmacy service at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, to support the provision of pharmaceutical care in an efficient and effective roll out of a unit-based model.
