Become a Preceptor?

Preceptors with the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy enjoy the satisfaction that they gain from giving back to the pharmacy profession through sharing their abilities, experience, and professionalism with the next generation of pharmacy practitioners. This is often a two-way street as many preceptors feel there are many benefits from having students in their workplace. Our students contribute to a site in multiple ways, through the sharing of ideas, enhanced patient care, expanded productivity, and increased community outreach. For a discussion of how becoming a preceptor can enhance your workplace, please contact the Director of Experiential Learning.
