Resident Research Series

The Resident Research Series at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy incorporates a structured educational series with longitudinal research working groups. This approach provides a foundation for performing research, gives appropriate mentorship, fosters interactive discussions, allows peer critiques and individual accountability for each resident project.

Residents are responsible for the completion of all aspects of their project, from conceptualization to final manuscript preparation. The Resident Research Series provides a small group learning environment where research related topics and resident projects are discussed over the course of the residency year with mentorship by faculty at the School of Pharmacy with extensive research experience. The Resident Research Day is held each June at the School of Pharmacy which provides residents the opportunity to present their research.
