Chen’s research focuses on real-world evidence and pharmacoepidemiology, with an emphasis on medication use and outcomes in patients with Alzheimer’s disease and psychosis. Chen’s work applies a range of methodological approaches, including deep learning, comparative effectiveness research, causal machine learning, and target trial emulation, to generate clinically meaningful evidence from large-scale real-world data.
