Brittany is interested in pharmacy leadership and teaching. She believes learning how to teach is an important skill for pharmacists to provide better care for patients. She plans to pursue a pharmacy leadership role within a health-system where she will have many opportunities to teach others on medication safety, policies, etc. She chose to complete the UPMC HSPAL program because she felt like it would allow her to accomplish this goal. She is especially excited for the many teaching opportunities she will have this year as well as going to ASHP Midyear with her fellow residents.
