Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education

The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, 135 South LaSalle Street, Suite 4100, Chicago, IL 60503, 312/664-3575; FAX 312/664-4652, web site www.acpe-accredit.org.

In 2017, PittPharmacy was reaccredited for eight years with no qualifiers.

Middle States Commission on Higher Education

The University of Pittsburgh is accredited through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. In 2011, the University was reaccredited for ten years, with no qualifiers.

113 students matriculated in Fall 2018 as the class of 2022;

  • 1 student withdrew for personal reasons.
  • Of those continuing, 99.1 percent (n=111) completed the program in 2022. 1 will graduate in 2023.
