Christina Tzikas is a Postgraduate Year-One (PGY-1) Managed Care Pharmacy Resident with CVS Health. Originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, she grew up between Greece and New York, an experience that fostered a broad perspective and appreciation for diverse cultures and backgrounds. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The City College of New York and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from St. John Fisher University.
Throughout pharmacy school, Christina had the opportunity to learn from exceptional preceptors and mentors who played a significant role in her professional development. Inspired by their guidance, she is passionate about fostering the growth of future pharmacists through mentorship, leadership, and educational initiatives. She strives to support and inspire the next generation of pharmacy professionals through teaching, professional development, and service.
Christina is passionate about managed care pharmacy because it combines evidence-based decision-making with opportunities to improve health outcomes on a broad scale. Her professional interests include behavioral health, population health management, formulary strategy, and the intersection of mental and physical health. Drawing on her background in psychology and pharmacy, she is particularly interested in developing programs and strategies that promote holistic health and improve outcomes for diverse member populations.
