Ibrahim M. Garbadawala

MS Student

I am a master's student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, working in the Berenbrok Lab. I have a strong interest in geographic information systems (GIS) and their application to pharmacy practice and cancer screening. My research focuses on characterizing, prescribing, and dispensing patterns for at-home colon cancer screening tests, using spatial analysis to identify where access to these tests is limited. I am primarily researching the gaps between prescription and patient reception. Our goal is to close the gaps within pharmacy networks that have poor outreach to their communities. Outside the lab, I play tennis.
