I am a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at UPMC St. Margaret on their Geriatrics track. My practice interests include ambulatory care, geriatrics and pain/palliative care. I also am interested in academia, teaching/precepting, and practice-based research. Additionally, I have a passion for our role as pharmacists in public health, advocacy, and volunteering at free clinics in the Pittsburgh area.
Outside Interests
Outside of pharmacy, I love to explore new restaurants and coffee shops, watching movies (proud AMC Stubs member!), and reading.
Reason for attending
I chose UPMC St. Margaret for residency as it has unique opportunities in geriatrics as well as a balance of both inpatient and outpatient experiences. I feel I will grow as a well-rounded pharmacist in direct patient care, pharmacy operations, teaching, and leadership. UPMC St. Margaret also offers the Faculty Development Fellowship, where I can develop skills for my interests in academia. Additionally, the program has great interprofessional collaboration and allows me to explore this across various settings. This year, I look forward to leading a research project, working in interdisciplinary teams, teaching opportunities, providing patient care, and growing in my first year as a pharmacist!
