Kyrle Luth

Dr. Kyrle Luth is a Clinical Pharmacogenomics Fellow in the Department of Pharmacy & Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is advancing his training in precision medicine and the clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics to improve patient care. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical practice, research, leadership, and service. Dr. Luth's professional interests center on pharmacogenomics, personalized medicine, and the integration of genomic data into clinical decision-making. He is particularly interested in the role of pharmacogenomics throughout the drug development process and the application of precision medicine within the biopharmaceutical industry. During pharmacy school, he served as a board member of the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO) and as a Junior Board Member for the South Carolina Pharmacy Association (SCPhA), demonstrating his commitment to professional leadership and the advancement of the pharmacy profession. In addition to his leadership activities, Dr. Luth volunteered as a student pharmacist with the Palmetto Palace Mobile Health Clinic, where he provided medication counseling and assisted in dispensing medications to uninsured and underserved patients. These experiences reinforced his dedication to improving healthcare access and deepened his appreciation for individualized, patient-centered care. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Luth enjoys hiking, cycling, singing, and collecting physical media. He is excited to contribute to the continued advancement of precision medicine through collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning.
