Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Pharmacy. She holds a BS in Pharmaceutics, MS and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical product development and translational research across industry and academia. Her expertise covers the wide spectrum of the product development lifecycle for small molecules and biologics, including pre-formulation, drugability assessment, delivery system design, formulation development, analytical method development and validation, quality control, regulatory sciences, and pharmacy management. Dr. Wang has led efforts advancing more than six candidates into Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials. She is experienced in FDA guidance, regulatory documentation (including Pre-IND and IND packages), phase-appropriate cGMP manufacturing, stability programs, and managing partnerships with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and contract research organizations (CROs). Her primary research interests focus on women’s health and global health needs. She is dedicated to collaborative, innovative pharmaceutical research for meaningful outcomes.
