I chose to pursue a PGY2 residency at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh due to my interests within pediatric intensive care in addition to the vast opportunities for research and precepting. Furthermore, I am looking forward to building relationships with patients and providers also strengthening my pediatric knowledge this year! Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy listening to music, playing guitar, and exercising. richettisd2@upmc.edu

I chose UPMC Mercy due to the knowledgeable, welcoming, and supportive staff members, also, due to this residency program offering a variety of patient care experiences ranging from intensive care to medication safety rotations.
