My name is Shannon, and I am a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at UPMC Presbyterian. My professional interests include chronic disease management, population health, and quality improvement. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy reading, going for walks, and spending time with family and friends.
Reason for attending
I was drawn to this program because of its wide range of ambulatory care experiences and opportunities to grow as a clinician, educator, and leader. This year, I am excited to expand my clinical skills, work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, care for patients with complex chronic conditions, and contribute to projects that advance pharmacist-led patient care.
