PGY1 Pharmacy, UPMC Magee Womens Hospital

I am excited that I recently started my PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Magee-Womens Hospital. My primary professional interest is oncology, a field that has always drawn to me because of the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients throughout their treatment journey. During residency, I look forward to centering my research project around the oncology patient population and further developing my clinical knowledge in this area. I am also looking forward to completing the teaching certificate program, which will allow me to contribute to the education of future pharmacists. I chose Magee-Womens Hospital PGY1 program because of its welcoming atmosphere, supportive staff, diverse core rotations, and many opportunities it offers for both personal and professional growth. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether running or going for a walk, as well as reading and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to continuing to grow as a clinical pharmacist throughout the residency year as well as caring for patients.
