Dr. Yazdani is working toward a career in advanced clinical pharmacy management, regulatory affairs, and inpatient operations within a leading academic medical center like UPMC. She is particularly passionate about the role of pharmacy leadership in driving system-wide improvements in patient care, medication safety, and operational efficiency. Her focus includes medication safety, quality improvement, informatics, and strategic planning. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, Dr. Yazdani is developing the skills needed to lead interdisciplinary teams, manage complex pharmacy services, and implement strategic initiatives that align clinical excellence with organizational goals. She is especially drawn to the management side of pharmacy practice—where leadership, policy, and operations intersect to create meaningful change. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Yazdani enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring new cuisines. She chose this program for its emphasis on leadership development, innovation, and its strong track record in preparing pharmacists for high-impact management roles as well as acute care pharmacy.
